Training and Therapeutic Approaches
Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM) and Somatic Experiencing (SE)
My Training:
I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of California. I obtained my Masters degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008 and have been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker since 2010.
I specialize in working with adults to resolve trauma, explore identity, and reduce stress through the use of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). In 2013, I completed a three-year training through the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute to become an SE Practitioner (SEP). Somatic Experiencing is a treatment approach, which is helpful in resolving shock trauma. In 2016, I completed a two-year training program in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and am a Certified NARM Therapist. NARM specifically addresses developmental/childhood trauma, in particular its effects on identity. I am currently studying Psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC).
